Consists of two teams of two golf players competing directly against each other. Each golfer plays their own ball throughout the round\, such that four balls are in play. A team’s number of strokes for a given hole is that of the lower scoring team member.  Play from the Gold Tees. Use 80% of current BlueGolf handicap from the Gold Tees; adjust the match off the low handicap. SUMMARY:Champion's Pointe Match Play
DESCRIPTION:Please sign up for the Inaugural Champions Pointe four-day Kemper Match Play Championship. Qualification for the 16 slots in Men’s Championship(Scratch) Flight\, the 16 slots in the Men’s Net Flight and the Ladies Net Championship will begin on August 1st. The first two rounds of match play will take place on September 9th and 10th. The semi finals will occur on September 16th\, with the final matches\, to determine the Champions\, will take place on Sunday\, September 17th. \nSign up at any time. All Master\, Wing Foot and US Open Members are eligible to compete. The cost for qualifications and the event itself will be only $50 total\, plus applicable greens fees. Qualification rounds can occur on any day in August. Players must declare in the Champions Pointe Golf Shop before playing that the round is a qualification round and turn in the scorecard afterwards. The Men’s Champion fight will be playing from the White Tees and the Men’s Net flight will be playing from the Grey Tees. The Ladies Champion flight will be played from the Red Tees. It is highly suggested that qualifying rounds be played from those tees. Scores turned in but played from different tees will be subject to adjustment of scores. Only rounds at Champions Pointe can count for qualification and must be turned into the shop by the close of business on August 31st. Players may attempt to qualify as many times as they want\, without any further entry fees. \nFor the men\, the top 16 scratch scorers and the top 16 net scorers will be matched up respectively for the 1st rounds of play on September 9th. If a player qualifies for both\, he will be given a choice of which flight to compete in. The top 16 net scores will determine the 1st round of the Ladies Championship flight. \nChampions and finalists will be competing for trophies\, prizes and recognition on a perpetual board. \nAll Net contestants must have an established USGA or Indiana Golf handicap. All USGA and Royal and Ancient Rules for match play will apply. SUMMARY:Covered Bridge Club Championship
DESCRIPTION:2023 Club Championship at Covered Bridge\n\nSaturday\, August 19th & Sunday\, August 20th\nTee Times starting at 8:00am each day\n36 holes stroke play for overall championship and for all age group competition. There is no entry fee required for this club event\, however all standard golf green fees apply & can come off member card. \n(Open to All 2023 US Open/Corporate\, Winged Foot & Masters Members of Covered Bridge & Champions Pointe Golf Clubs) \nChampionship Division – Black/Fuzzy Tees\nRegular Division – Gold Tees\nSenior Division (Ages 50 – 64) – Gold Tees\nSuper Senior Division (Ages 65-  74) – Green Tees\nLegends Division (Ages 75 & Older) – Grey Tees\nLadies Division (Gross & Net Division) – Grey Tees\nSenior Ladies Division (Ages 65 & Above) – Pink Tees \nThe golf shop will assign tee times and pairings based on current handicap index for Day 1 starting with the lowest index to the highest index.  We will PreFlight the tournament based on the August 14th handicap index revision.  Day 2 pairings will be based on Day 1 scores and will play in order of highest scores to lowest scores. \nAll participants 4.0 index or below will be Preflighted into the Championship Flight and will play from the Black tees on Day 1 and the Fuzzy tees on Day 2.  Anyone higher than a 4.0 index that would like to participate for the Overall Club Champion may opt up into the Championship Flight.  All other participants 4.1 index and higher will be Preflighted into the Flight that they fall into based on participation and current handicap index. \nAnyone can opt up into another division if they choose.  Ex.  Someone 65+ years old can opt up and participate in the Senior division or the Regular division if they choose. \nTee times on Saturday will be in order from Championship Flight\, Regular Division\, Senior Division\, Super Senior Division\, Legends Division & Ladies Division beginning at 8:00 am. \nTee times on Sunday will be in order from Ladies Division\, Legends Division\, Super Senior Division\, Senior Division\, Regular Division & Championship Flight beginning at 8:00 am. \nWe will also have a Gross & Net Skins game for each day for $10 entry fee per day.  If there are no live skins for Day 1 then the Day 1 pot will roll over into the Day 2 pot. \nPlease also join us on the Verandah/Patio area immediately following the Club Championship final round on Sunday for a “Toast to the Champions” cocktail party. \nThank you again for your continued participation and support.  Good luck to everyone and most of all have fun.   \nPlease call the Covered Bridge Pro Shop at 812-246-8880 ext. #4 to sign up to participate in the Club Championship.  \nPlease declare the division that you want to participate in when you call to sign up. \nResults of the Covered Bridge Club Championship:\nClub Championship Results 2023
